Membrane construction follows the selected pump part drawing. Specify NBR or FKM compound, thickness and any reinforcement; a PTFE-faced composite is a separate construction requiring approval.

Select the NBR or FKM grade against the actual water, additives and cleaning chemicals. Confirm concentration and contact temperature rather than assuming resistance to every acid, alkali or solvent.

Confirm pressure and pulsation duty from the complete pump specification. The membrane alone does not establish a 0-25 bar operating rating.

Operating temperature depends on the approved compound, fluid and membrane construction. Agree the continuous and peak temperatures for the selected part.
