Royal Way®FKM and PTFE hammer union seal enquiries are matched to the specified pipe connection and manufacturer drawing. Identify whether the required part is an FKM seal, a PTFE ring or a defined assembly using both materials. Confirm material grade, finished dimensions and operating requirements before replacement approval.
Confirm the Role of Each FKM or PTFE Component
Provide the complete union drawing, figure designation, manufacturer and nominal pipe size. Identify each seal or support component by part number and material. The FKM/PTFE listing does not by itself define a bonded, encapsulated or composite construction.
Specify the approved FKM compound or PTFE grade and any filler requirements for the relevant part. State fluid composition, cleaning exposure, temperature and pressure cycles. Service approval must cover the selected materials in the complete assembly.
Agree finished dimensions, tolerances and inspection requirements for each component. For FKM, define nominal elastomer hardness and tolerance; for PTFE, use the test method required by its grade specification. Confirm all included components with the order rather than assuming a general material list describes a complete kit.
