Custom PTFE Ring Drawing and Chemical Exposure Requirements
For a custom ring, provide inside and outside dimensions, section profile, tolerances and the union assembly drawing. Specify the PTFE grade and any filler requirements. Confirm whether the requested item is the sealing ring or a supporting component within a defined assembly.
List the process chemicals, concentrations, mixtures and cleaning products together with temperature exposure and pressure cycles. Define the required compatibility review and acceptance documents for the selected material grade. A general chemical-resistance description does not establish suitability for every medium.
Agree the sample and finished-part inspection requirements before production. Use the hardness test method specified for the PTFE grade where applicable. The broader size and elastomer references retained below describe separate options and require their own drawing approval.
