Royal Way® brass-backed hammer union seal enquiries are matched to the specific FIG 602 or FIG 1002 assembly drawing. Specify the elastomer compound, brass component geometry and union manufacturer together. Confirm whether the order covers the complete specified construction or individual replacement parts.
The brass-backed construction must be reviewed with the union seal pocket and operating conditions. Provide fluid composition, temperature and pressure cycling for compound and assembly review. A metal backing description alone does not establish a pressure rating, leak-free performance or compatibility with another union figure.
Specify the Brass Component and Elastomer as One Defined Construction
