Chemical Resistant Hammer Union Seal with High Pressure Rating (20,000 PSI) and Extreme Temperature Range (-20°F to +400°F)
Chemical Resistant Hammer Union Seals for Harsh Environments
Product Overview
Our high-performance Hammer Union Seals are precision-engineered to provide leak-free connections in the most demanding oilfield and industrial applications. Designed specifically for harsh environments, these seals offer superior resistance to chemicals, high pressures, and extreme temperatures, ensuring operational safety and reducing downtime in fluid transfer systems.
Key Features & Benefits
Superior Chemical Resistance: Specially formulated compounds to withstand acids, solvents, crude oil, and corrosive fluids.
High-Pressure Integrity: Engineered to maintain a tight seal under extreme hydraulic and pneumatic pressure.
Anti-Extrusion Design: Robust geometry prevents seal deformation even during rapid pressure cycles.
Universal Compatibility: Designed to fit standard industry Figure numbers (Fig 100, 200, 602, 1002, 1502, etc.).
Durability: Reduced wear and tear in abrasive flow-back and fracturing environments.
Material Selection & Comparison
Choosing the right material is critical for chemical compatibility and service life. We offer a variety of elastomers and polymers:
NBR (Nitrile/Buna-N): Best for general-purpose oil and water service. Cost-effective with good abrasion resistance.
FKM (Fluorocarbon): Excellent for high-temperature environments and resistance to aggressive chemicals and hydrocarbons.
HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile): Ideal for H2S (Sour Gas) service; offers higher strength and heat resistance than standard NBR.
PTFE: Provides the highest level of chemical inertness and low friction; often used as a backup or for specialized chemical flow.
Viton with Brass/Stainless Steel Inserts: Reinforced designs for high-velocity flow and anti-extrusion requirements.

Primary Applications
Our Hammer Union Seals are used globally across various sectors involving high-pressure fluid handling:
Oil & Gas Drilling: Mud systems, manifold systems, and standpipe connections.
Hydraulic Fracturing (Fracking): High-pressure flow-back and chemical injection lines.
Well Servicing: Cementing units and acidizing equipment.
Chemical Processing: Transporting aggressive media in industrial plants.
Mining & Marine: Slurry lines and heavy-duty offshore fluid transfer.
Quality Assurance
Every seal undergoes rigorous quality control testing, including dimensional inspection and material hardness verification (Durometer Shore A/D). Our manufacturing process ensures that each seal meets or exceeds industry standards for elasticity, tensile strength, and compression set.
