Product Introduction

Custom EPDM grommets provide a rubber interface between a panel opening and a cable or tube. Specify panel-hole diameter, panel thickness, cable OD and retention-groove dimensions so the part can be matched to the installation. Weather sealing requires the complete interface and any required ingress testing to be confirmed.

For automotive, HVAC or outdoor equipment enquiries, provide the drawing revision, assembly details, hardness, color and identification requirements. Confirm the geometry and sample fit before production.

EPDM is selected for grommets primarily for its exceptional stability in "open-air" environments where other rubbers might crack or degrade.

Q1: Is EPDM better than Silicone for outdoor grommets?
A: Compare the actual temperature, weather exposure, cable movement, retention and compound properties. Neither material is universally superior; confirm the required tests and installation fit.

Q2: Can EPDM grommets be used in contact with oil or gasoline?
A: No. EPDM is not recommended for petroleum-based fluids. If your application involves oil contact, we recommend our NBR or FKM custom components.
