1) A push-on boot covers the cable end connector area to help limit dirt accumulation. Match the connector body profile, cable exit opening and coverage length to the intended assembly.
2) NBR is the rubber material specified for this item. PVC shrouds and HNBR boots are separate options; review compound, installation stretch and fit before approving a substitution.

Ordering a Cable End Connector Boot:

For an assembled termination, provide the largest connector diameter that the boot must pass over. Include cable exit diameter, boot length and any retaining shoulder so the installation method can be reviewed.

Where the cable bends near the connector, specify the movement and available space. Review the proposed boot geometry on the actual termination; an external cover should not be assumed to provide strain relief without assembly validation.

Reference the approved drawing revision, material designation and sample for replacement orders. Inspect opening fit, coverage and visible tears or distortion before use.
