Hammer Union Seal
Buna/NBR hammer union rings are replacement rubber seals for the specified union connection. Hammer unions use mating ends and a hammer nut; the required lip seal or O-ring profile depends on the manufacturer, figure number and nominal size. Match the seal to the approved parts drawing before ordering.
For this Buna-material enquiry, confirm the exact NBR compound, Shore A hardness, dimensions and any backing requirement. FKM, HNBR, brass-backed, stainless-backed and PTFE configurations are separate options requiring their own service and fit review.
Buna is used here as the nitrile-rubber material designation. Suitability depends on the actual compound, fluid and operating temperatures; the material name alone does not establish H2S qualification. Provide the union model, figure number, part number or drawing, fluid, temperature and required quantity with the enquiry.
Pressure and test limits belong to the complete rated union assembly. This listing does not establish a standalone seal pressure rating or demonstrate that every supplied ring has been tested to 22,500 psi. Confirm the equipment rating and required material qualification separately.
