Confirm finished inside diameter and cross-section from the drawing. The catalog size references do not establish the available range for every compound or manufacturing process.
Silicone, FKM, NBR and EPDM are different compound options. Select silicone for the intended fluid and heat exposure only after reviewing the compound specification; these materials are not interchangeable.

Application
Application of the rubber o ring:
A: Static sealing in suitable housings and connections; confirm groove dimensions, squeeze and installation clearance.
B: For pipe or equipment joints, specify pressure, medium and temperature together with the ring dimensions.
C: Oil, coolant and other fluid applications require compound-specific compatibility review. Silicone heat resistance alone does not prove oil or chemical suitability.
