Application:

1. Should I choose a solid or bored stopper?
Choose a solid stopper when the required configuration has no pass-through. A bored stopper accommodates the specified tube or probe; its hole is a separate fit interface.
State whether the opening is to be closed, vented or used with a pass-through component, and define the assembly acceptance test.
2. How do I match the stopper to a test tube?
a. Measure the receiving neck inside diameter and its tolerance.
b. Provide the neck depth and any taper or shoulder.
c. State the intended stopper insertion depth.
