Available Technologies of Shanghai Qinuo:

• Compression Molding: A measured rubber charge is placed in a mold and cured under heat and pressure. Suitability depends on compound, part geometry, tooling and production quantity.
• Injection Molding: Rubber compound is fed into a mold cavity and cured under controlled conditions. Review flow paths, parting lines and dimensional requirements for the selected material.
• Transfer Molding: Rubber is forced from a transfer chamber through runners into the mold cavities and cured. Review gate positions and trimming requirements on functional surfaces.
• Liquid Injection Molding:Liquid silicone rubber is metered into a heated mold and cured. This process applies to the selected liquid silicone system; it is not a general process description for FKM or SBR.

What defines precision for a custom molded rubber part?

Precision is defined by the drawing tolerances and agreed measurement method. Identify assembly datums, sealing surfaces, holes and thin sections that control function rather than applying one tolerance to every feature.

Specify whether dimensions are inspected on the free part or in an assembly, and agree sample conditioning where deformation affects measurement. Review molded samples for fit, flash and surface acceptance at the functional areas.

For quotation, provide the drawing revision, required compound, hardness, quantity and inspection criteria. Tooling and process selection follow the agreed geometry and sample requirements.
