1. What does black coating specify?
It identifies the listed surface appearance. State the required coating process, treated areas and acceptance criteria on the order; black color alone does not define coating thickness or corrosion resistance.
Confirm whether the bore and locating surfaces are treated, masked or finished separately, and specify the dimensions in their final inspection condition.
