Custom Color Purple Hammer Union Seal With Brass Extrusion Ring
Product Description
Purple Buna-N hammer union seals with a brass extrusion ring combine a specified nitrile rubber sealing profile with a metal support component for the matched union recess. The brass ring and rubber element must be selected as the correct part configuration. Provide the union manufacturer, figure number and seal drawing when requesting a replacement, including the backing outside diameter, inside diameter and thickness.
Custom purple colouring can help distinguish ordered batches, but it does not identify hardness, fluid compatibility or pressure rating. Confirm the NBR compound, Shore A hardness, rubber-to-backing configuration and required service conditions independently. A brass-supported seal should not be replaced by an unbacked ring or a different backing material solely on nominal line size. Figure references 602, 1002, 1502, 2002 and 2202 require individual fit confirmation; operating pressure belongs to the complete rated union assembly.
