Provide the drawing, critical fits, normal and peak temperature, chemical exposure and load duration. Agree strength, stiffness, creep and dimensional acceptance criteria for the finished part; a general PEEK designation does not establish a component rating.

PEEK grade options for mechanical-duty review:
1) Unfilled PEEK: specify the resin grade and required mechanical and dimensional checks.
2) Glass-filled PEEK: specify filler content and grade; review fibre orientation, tolerances and the required electrical properties.
3) Bearing-grade PEEK: identify the exact compound and required sliding conditions.Review counterface, load, speed, lubrication and wear acceptance criteria for the bearing design.
4) Food-contact requirements: identify the applicable regulation and obtain documents for the exact material grade and use conditions.
