Application
Application of NBR O-Rings and Buna O-Rings:
NBR, also called nitrile or Buna-N, is used in many sealing applications with a compound selected for the actual fluid and temperature. This AS568-230 enquiry retains the specified 90 Shore A hardness. Colour is an identification requirement, not proof of rubber grade or service capability. For the named wireline equipment application, use the equipment-approved seal specification; the O-ring size and hardness alone do not establish system suitability.
