TA Style Rubber Aluminum or Steel Core Swab Cups 2-3/8" 2-7/8" 3-1/2"
TA-Style Swab Cups with Aluminum or Steel Core: Standard and Undersize References
TA-style medium-load cups are offered with aluminum or steel bushings. Use the table to compare the specific standard and undersize configurations, then confirm cup height, core dimensions and actual mandrel fit before ordering. For the 2-3/8-inch reference, the listed standard OD is 1.990 inches and undersize OD is 1.945 inches, both with 1.120-inch ID. The 2-7/8-inch entries differ in both OD and ID, so verify the complete row rather than choosing by tubing size alone. Specify fluid, solids, temperature and expected load for compound selection.

Available types of Swab cups:
TA style: A medium-load cup built around a steel or aluminum bushing. Confirm the tubing bore, mandrel fit and required load range before selecting the cup; compound and dimensions must match the actual well conditions.
MV style: A multiple-lip cup with a steel or aluminum bushing. Confirm the lip profile and fit for the tubing restrictions and suspended solids present; choose the rubber compound for the produced fluid and temperature.
V style: An all-rubber cup with upturned lips, offered for different load requirements and sand-bearing fluids. Confirm the cup arrangement and operating load; excessive-load behavior depends on the actual design and well conditions.

| Part Name | MV Style, TA style, TUF style, NUF style and V style |

Nitrile (NBR), HNBR or FKM options; reinforcement and compound per confirmed cup drawing |
Application: TA-style medium-load well-fluid swabbing. Confirm the actual tubing bore, bore restrictions, cup arrangement and operating load; the MV profile is a separate selection.
Swab Cup Ordering and Selection
Specify the cup style, quantity, tubing bore and mandrel dimensions so the required fit can be reviewed.
Include fluid composition, suspended sand, operating temperature and expected load. These conditions guide compound and reinforcement selection.
Provide drawings or samples for custom cups and confirm dimensional tolerances, compound and delivery requirements in the quotation.
