Product Overview:

This test apparatus conforms to IEC 60884-1:2013 clause 24.14 figure 31. It is used to verify the required retention and removal force for the cover or cover plate of switch or socket or other parts.

The cover or cover-plate being fitted on the wall after a sheet of hard material, (1 ± 0,1) mm thick, has been fitted around the supporting frame as shown in figure 31 of IEC 60884-1 : 2013.
