Compared with the vertical turbine generator of the same capacity, the rated speed of the bulb unit can be increased by more than 10%, the inner diameter of the generator can be reduced by more than 25%, and the weight of the entire unit (including the turbine) can be reduced by 25%, which is more economical A reasonable model, mostly used for low-head hydropower stations with a working head range of 3~25m.
