The filtration material made of this kind of polymer fiber can work under the long-term temperature range from-195℃ to +250℃. Its melting point is 327℃ and softing point is 280℃. PTFE itself does not break, does not burn. The limit oxygen index is as high as 95%. PTFE fiber is chemically stable for all the chemicals except the fluoride gas (element fluorine) , chlorine trifluoride (extracted from fluorine “stone”) and melted alkali-metal. It is anti-corrosion to all acid, oxidizer and organic solvents. It has excellent characteristics of chemical resistance. The filtration felt made of it is widely used in the extremely bad working conditions high temperature conditions. It is the mostly used materials for the field of waste incineration currently in China.
