Product Introduction
As copper its own property, copper pin fin heatsink offers excellent thermal conductivity, the copper pin fin heatsink can be classified into two main types: round pin fin heatsink and square pin fin heatsink. Due to the copper character, it could not be extruded as aluminum material, so the copper pin fin heatsinks are mainly manufactured by cold forging process or CNC machining.
Pin fin heatsink is designed for low air flow conditions, the pin fin structure enable the air to flow the heatsink much easier and take away the heat to ambient more efficiently. Small copper pin fin heatsink is widely used in some electronic package, BGA, FPGA, etc applications which has limited space for a heatsink and need to dissipate the heat effectively.
