Working Principle:

a. Rotate the handle to move the valve stem downward, close the valve

b. Rotate the handle upward to open the valve, the medium starts to pass throught the valve

c. Continue to rotate the handle upward until the valve opens completely, the medium passes through the valve

Configuration:

Self-draining Angle:

When installing diaphragm valve in the horizontal pipeline, the valve should be installed at 15-30 degrees with horizontal plane, to make fluid turbulent, in order to completely evacuate the medium and to prevent dead legs.
