Select light-duty or heavy-duty construction against the actual tubing bore, mandrel and lifting conditions; cup count and load release depend on the complete tool assembly. The steel-core options in the table below must be matched to the requested drawing.
For frac-fluid service, specify tensile-strength, abrasion and fluid-compatibility requirements for the selected rubber compound. Request applicable test data rather than selecting a cup from a general performance claim.

V-Series Cup OD, Bore and Compound Enquiry

Use the existing size table to identify both cup OD and cup ID in inches. Nominal tubing size is a separate reference and must not be treated as the cup outside diameter. For example, the listed 2-7/8 inch nominal row has a 2.410 inch cup OD and a 1.334 inch cup ID. Confirm these dimensions, core construction and mandrel fit against the replacement drawing.

For a tensile or abrasion enquiry, include the required test method, acceptance values, fluid composition, temperature and sand conditions. Rubber hardness or a V-series name alone does not establish tensile strength, chemical resistance or a lifting-load rating.

TA style: TA is a medium-load profile with a steel or aluminum bushing, subject to the selected size and drawing. Confirm tubing clearance, mandrel fit and compound before substituting it for a V-series cup.
MV style: MV is a multiple-upturned-lip profile. Specify the bushing material, cup dimensions and fluid conditions when comparing MV with V-series options; matching nominal size alone does not establish interchangeability.
V style: V-series selection includes lip geometry, duty designation and core construction. For sandy fluids, report sand concentration and particle size together with tubing condition and lifting cycle. Confirm the required cup count with the tool assembly specification.

Specify the well-fluid composition, suspended solids and lifting conditions so that the cup profile and rubber compound can be reviewed together.
