Steel-Core TA Swab Cups — Nominal Tubing Size and Cup Dimensions

Shanghai Qinuo Industry offers the popular Guiberson* profile TA Swab Cup in both nitrile and frac fluid rubber compound. The cup has either an aluminum or steel bushing with multiple upturned lips with profile and load suitability confirmed against actual tubing bore, mandrel and fluid conditions. Suspended sand and restrictions affect wear and movement.

Our Swab Cups are produced from a newly developed rubber in the popular Guiberson* profile in either a nitrile or Frac Fluid compound. These cups can also be produced in other specified materials. Wear behaviour depends on the approved compound, tubing condition, fluid and actual lifting duty.

Available types of Swab cups:

TA type: TA is a medium load Swab Cup built around a steel or aluminum bushing for use in most sizes of tubing or drill pipe. When under load, it will compress to form a solid rubber mass for lifting action according to the approved profile and operating duty. Manufactured from a newly developed rubber compound, these cups provide our customers with a drawing-matched replacement product. Our special Frac Fluid compound is developed for a specified fluid formulation and operating duty. Confirm the exact compound against the fluid, temperature and maintenance criteria.



 
V style: Shanghai Qinuo carries the V Series Swab Cup in a light duty and heavy duty all rubber cup that is suited for use in fluids with high concentrations of suspended sand. The upturned lips pass easily through tight spots and will invert to dump excessive loads. The number of cups used will vary with conditions.Compound properties and chemical compatibility require approval for the actual fluid and duty.

The retained table distinguishes nominal tubing references from cup outside and inside diameters. Its 2-3/8, 2-7/8 and 3-1/2-inch entries are not cup OD measurements. Steel and aluminium core rows are separate construction references; approve the steel-core item for this enquiry. TA, V, TUF and NUF descriptions identify separate profiles.
