Catalyzed Diesel Particulate Filters (CDPF) for Diesel Engines
Catalyzed Diesel Particulate Filters (CDPF) are designed to reduce the harmful emissions of particulate matter (PM) from diesel engines. The main role of the CDPF is to capture particulate matter (PM) in the exhaust gas, and then continue to burn it to regenerate it at normal diesel operating exhaust temperature, and run continuously without clogging.
The main purpose of the catalyst is to facilitate the passive regeneration of the filter by deoxygenating diesel particulate matter at exhaust temperatures during normal engine/vehicle operation (typically in the range of 300-400°C).
Catalytic diesel engines are widely used in buses, trucks, forklifts, cranes, construction machinery, diesel generator sets and other on-road and off-road diesel engine applications.
DOC CDPF can remove the oxidation of CO, HC and SOF in engine exhaust, and capture PM/PN, so that the emission meets the regulation requirements.
