Application Area

It is commonly used to measure guide rail straightness and panel flatness( also called flatness

measuring instrument), measure the perpendicularity with steering prism accessory. It is applied

to aerospace, shipbuilding, military projects and other industries requiring high precision, such as

machining industrial quality assurance (flatness, flatness, perpendicularity, parallelism...), metrological

verification angle testing standards, prism angle positioning and monitoring, optical component testing

and installation accuracy control, etc.

Working Principle

Light from light source passes through a reticle plate, a semi-reflection mirror, a objective lens,and

then is projected onto the reflector. If the reflector is tilted, the reflected crosshair image deviate the

zero position on reticle plate.
