Warnings & Precautions

Charging


  • Use a high-quality LiPo balance charger set to 4S (16.8V), ≤4.0A (1C) unless specifications allow 2C.

  • Never charge unattended. Always charge in a fire-proof LiPo safety bag/container on a non-flammable surface.


Discharging


  • Thermal Management is Key: High current generates immense heat. Allow the battery to cool COMPLETELY between uses. Never use it if it feels hot to the touch (>60°C).
  • Monitor Voltage Aggressively: Use a precise low-voltage alarm set no lower than 3.2V per cell (12.8V for pack)Never discharge below 12.0V.
  • Avoid Sustained Max Current: While rated for 60C continuous, prolonged use at the absolute limit will drastically reduce cycle life and increase risk. Use responsibly.
  • Inspect Rigorously: Before and after every use, check for puffing, damage, hot spots, or loose connections. Retire any suspect battery immediately.


Storage


  • ALWAYS store at ~15.2V (3.8V/cell). High-rate cells degrade rapidly if stored fully charged or fully depleted.
  • Transport in a non-flammable, rigid container with terminals insulated.
  • Dispose of properly at a designated battery recycling center.
