Product Function
Our stocked hydraulic main pump serves as the essential power source for all kinds of excavator hydraulic systems. Almost all construction excavator models adopt axial variable piston pump design; medium and large excavator specifications are configured with integrated dual main pump plus rear-installed pilot gear pump.
Dual main pump with two independent pumping chambers works at 28~35MPa working pressure to realize split oil supply and multi-function compound actions. The matching rear pilot pump operates at 3~4MPa low pressure to supply pilot control fluid for operation handles and main valve inner spools.

Internal Structural Description
The pump body and cylinder block assembly accommodate multiple piston groups to complete oil suction and pressurization during spindle rotation. The swash plate’s tilt variation changes piston stroke and pump displacement size. External installed flow regulator adjusts swash plate position under hydraulic signal control: increased tilt angle raises displacement and flow rate for faster working speed; decreased tilt reduces flow output to save fuel and avoid engine stall under overweight load. Valve plate divides low-pressure inlet chamber and high-pressure output chamber for uniform oil distribution.
Three Core Control Functions
Constant power adjustment reduces pump displacement as working load increases to fully utilize engine power and prevent flameout. Load sensing technology supplies flow matching real-time working demand and maintains low displacement for fuel saving at idle status. Pressure cutoff control minimizes pump displacement when system pressure hits maximum rated value to protect hydraulic pipes and cylinders from burst damage.
Common Fault Summary
Worn pistons and valve plate leading to internal leakage or blocked regulator will cause sluggish and powerless machine movements. Regulator stuck in large-displacement position brings excessive flow output, engine overload and black smoke emission. Heavy internal leakage produces excess heat and triggers abnormal high hydraulic oil temperature. Air suction from loose pipeline, insufficient hydraulic oil or damaged inner bearings and pistons result in abnormal pump noise.
Aftermarket Maintenance Guidance
Renew hydraulic oil and filter elements regularly to prevent impurity abrasion of core components; check suction pipeline tightness to stop air intake and machine trembling; maintain normal hydraulic oil level to extend pump service cycle.
