Function
As the core hydraulic power unit of excavators, engine-driven main pump converts mechanical power into high-pressure hydraulic oil to drive boom, arm, bucket, travel and swing assemblies.
Product Type
Standard axial variable piston pump; tandem double main pump with rear pilot gear pump for mid & large excavators: main pump 28~35MPa, pilot pump 3~4MPa for pilot control circuit.
Internal Structure
Rotatable piston-cylinder assembly, angle-adjustable swash plate, external flow regulator and distribution valve plate constitute full pump structure; regulator modifies swash angle to adjust displacement, flow speed and fuel cost.
Three Core Control
Constant power avoids engine stall under overload; LS energy-saving control provides on-demand flow; pressure cut-off protects hydraulic parts at maximum working pressure.
Common Faults
Inner leakage or stuck regulator leads to slow operation; locked large displacement causes overload and black smoke; heavy leakage raises oil temperature; air suction creates abnormal pump sound.
