Working Principle:

1. Pneumatic spring return acting three way ball valve

When compressed air enter into port A, pistons are forced outwards, making the pinion and valve stem rotate anticlockwise,  the valve is open accordingly when air is exhausted from port B

When air pressure at port A is exhausted, springs forces the pistons inwards, making pinion turn clockwise, the valve is closed.

2. Pneumatic double acting three way ball valve

Compressed air enters the chamber from port A, forces the pistons outwards, the pinion rotate anticlockwise, and valve is open 

Compressed air enters the chamber from port B, forces the pistons inwards, the pinion turn clockwise

and valve is closed

Flow Direction Diagram:

T-type: 4 way valve seat, balanced force, for flow division, mix and direction change

L-type: 2 way valve seat, for flow direction change
