Easily soluble in water, the aqueous solution is slightly alkaline, slightly soluble in alcohol, hygroscopic, and self-dissolving at higher temperatures.
Anhydrous dipotassium hydrogen phosphate is converted into potassium pyrophosphate when heated to 204℃
