Product Description:
Dipotassium hydrogen phosphate, alias dipotassium hydrogen phosphate trihydrate, molecular formula: K2HPO4 3H2O, appearance is white crystal or amorphous white powder, easily soluble in water, slightly alkaline in aqueous solution, slightly soluble in alcohol, hygroscopic, temperature Autolysis when high. The relative density is 2.338, and the intramolecular dehydration is converted to potassium pyrophosphate at 204 °C. The pH of a 1% aqueous solution is 8.9. Mainly used in medicine, fermentation, bacterial culture and preparation of potassium pyrophosphate, etc.
Functions:
In the food industry, it is used as a raw material for preparing alkaline water for pasta products, a fermentation agent, a flavoring agent, a leavening agent, a mild alkaline agent for dairy products, and yeast food. Used as buffer chelating agent. It can also be used as a feed additive. Dipotassium hydrogen phosphate is used as a buffer in chemical analysis, in the phosphating of metals and as an electroplating additive.
