Application:
Tripotassium phosphate is used in food industry and boiler water treatment. It can also be used as high-efficiency liquid compound fertilizer and assistant for recovering sulfur from acid gas in synthetic rubber production.
Neutralization method:
After the reaction of phosphoric acid with potassium hydroxide or potassium bicarbonate and potassium carbonate, through the control of the reaction end point, the neutralization solution is concentrated to remove the insoluble matter, and then it is cooled, crystallized, centrifuged and dried to obtain the product. However, because phosphoric acid is divided into thermal phosphoric acid and wet process phosphoric acid, wet process phosphoric acid is mainly obtained by using phosphate rock and inorganic acid according to the principle of preparing weak acid from strong acid, even if the phosphorus element is leached with inorganic acid such as sulfuric acid, so that the sulfate radical and other elements such as calcium form calcium sulfate insoluble matter, which is obtained by filtration.
