Application:
Trisodium phosphate is used as a quality modifier, which can improve the complex metal ions, pH value, and ionic strength of food, thereby improving the cohesion and water holding capacity of food. China stipulates that it can be used for cheese, the maximum usage is 5g/kg; the maximum usage in Western-style ham, meat, fish, shrimp and crab is 3.0g/kg; the maximum usage in canned food, juice, beverages and dairy products is 0.5g /kg.
Preparation method
The product is obtained by the neutralization reaction of hot phosphoric acid and caustic soda, and the neutralization liquid is crystallized by cooling, centrifuged and dried.
Chemical reaction equation: H3PO4+3NaOH→Na3PO4+3H2O
Phosphoric acid extraction method: at 90~100°C, use industrial soda ash to neutralize and extract phosphoric acid to 50% to 70% and separate out sodium fluorosilicate when the acid is converted into monosodium phosphate, filter, and the filtrate continues to be neutralized to slightly alkaline with soda ash (pH value 8.4~8.6); then neutralize with sodium hydroxide solution to generate trisodium phosphate, filter while hot, and concentrate the clear liquid to a relative density of 1.24~1.26 (28~30°Bé), then cool to 25~70° C crystallization; centrifugal separation, drying to obtain the product, the mother liquor can be reused.
