Dipotassium hydrogen phosphate trihydrate is white crystals containing water. Anhydrous is white powder.
Easily soluble in water, the aqueous solution is slightly alkaline, slightly soluble in alcohol, hygroscopic, and self-dissolving at higher temperatures.
Anhydrous dipotassium hydrogen phosphate is converted into potassium pyrophosphate when heated to 204℃.

Properties Colorless or white tetragonal crystal system coarse fruit particles. Easily deliquescent, easily soluble in water (1g is approximately soluble in 3mL of water), 1% aqueous solution has a pH of about 9, and insoluble in ethanol.
Manufacturing method
(1) Add phosphoric acid to the potassium hydroxide solution according to the calculated amount, filter, concentrate, let cool, solidify and pulverize.
(2) It is prepared by reacting potassium phosphate with a calculated amount of phosphoric acid.

Application:
Used for boiler water treatment. It can be used as phosphorus and potassium regulator in medicine and fermentation industry, and bacterial culture medium. It is the raw material for making potassium pyrophosphate. It can be used as a corrosion inhibitor for liquid fertilizer and glycol antifreeze. The feed grade is used as a feed nutritional supplement.
