Product Description:
Potassium tripolyphosphate is a white crystalline powder. The density is 2.54g/cm3. The melting point is 620～640℃. The bulk density is 1.07g/cm3. Easily soluble in water, it is alkaline in aqueous solution and will gradually hydrolyze to form phosphate in water. The rate of hydrolysis is related to pH and temperature. It has a good ability to complex metal ions and is an excellent metal complexing agent. The water is gradually hydrolyzed into orthophosphate.

Applications:
Used in food processing as moisture retention agent, tissue modifier, chelating agent and water quality treatment agent. Potassium tripolyphosphate has excellent solubility and dissolution speed. Using this product has a higher yield than traditional phosphate, and has a good taste.
