Preparation method:
In the process of thermal phosphoric acid, the thermal phosphoric acid is added into the reactor, and the liquid caustic soda is added slowly under stirring for neutralization reaction to produce trisodium phosphate, which is then cooled, crystallized, centrifuged and dried to produce trisodium phosphate dodecahydrate.

Properties
White or colorless crystal, efflorescent in air, easily soluble in water but not in organic solution. Its water solution is alkaline. PH value of 1% solution is 12.1, relative density at 1.62g/cm3, melting point is 73.4 ℃.
Application
Trisodium Phosphate is used as emulsifier, nutritional supplement and quality improver in food processing. It is also used in the preparation of α - starch and granulated water. It can also be used as detergent for food bottles and cans.
