Product Description:
Sodium tripolyphosphate, also known as pentasodium phosphate, sodium metapyrophosphate, STPP, pentasodium tripolyphosphate. Its molecular weight is 367.86, melting point is 622 ℃, soluble in water, and its aqueous solution is alkaline.
Application:
Industrial grade sodium tripolyphosphate is generally used as suspension dispersant, papermaking preservative and organic synthesis catalyst in ceramic industry, water softener, leather pretanning agent, dye assistant, coating, kaolin, magnesia, calcium carbonate drilling fluid, etc. It is also used in the cleaning of petroleum products, storage of latex, dispersant and solvent in metal industry and pharmaceutical industry, and also widely used in synthetic rubber, food industry, poultry processing, etc.
