Product Description:
Tripotassium phosphate, also known as potassium phosphate, is a white granular powder, easy to absorb moisture, relative density 2.564 (17℃), melting point 1340℃. It is soluble in water and shows alkaline reaction. Insoluble in ethanol. Used as water softener, fertilizer, liquid soap, food additive, etc. It can be prepared by adding potassium hydroxide to dipotassium hydrogen phosphate solution.
Nature and stability
1. It will not decompose if used and stored according to specifications.
2. Avoid contact with oxides, moisture/humidity. It is soluble in water but insoluble in alcohol. The aqueous solution is strongly alkaline. It is highly corrosive. Strong hygroscopicity.

Used to make liquid soap, high-quality paper, refined gasoline,and used as a high effective K,P liquid compound fertilizer.
For food grade, it is mainly used as additive agent,buffering agent, chelating agent, yeast food, emulsifier, potassium fortifier, flavoring agent, meat binder, and softener of boiler water. Also as synergistic agent of anti-oxidation, and useful for the oxidative coupling of thiols to disulfide.
