Properties
Sodium phosphate, Na3PO4, is a phosphate. In dry air, it is easy to deliquescence and weathering, forming sodium dihydrogen phosphate and sodium bicarbonate. It is almost completely decomposed into disodium hydrogen phosphate and sodium hydroxide in water. In electroplating industry, it is used to prepare surface treatment degreasing liquid and alkaline detergent for unpolished parts. In the formula of synthetic detergent, because of its high alkalinity, it is only used in the formula of strong alkalinity detergent, such as car cleaner, floor cleaner, metal cleaner, etc.
Physical property
Sodium phosphate is colorless or white crystal, containing 1-12 molecular crystalline water, no odor. Heating to 212 ℃ to become anhydrous. It is easy to dissolve in water (28.3g/100ml), and insoluble in ethanol and carbon disulfide.
Chemical property
The aqueous solution is strong alkaline.
The sodium phosphate of 10 water is formed by heating to 55-65 ℃, and then heated to 60-100 ℃ to form sodium hexahydrate phosphate, and heated to above 100 ℃ to become sodium phosphate monohydrate, and then heated to 212 ℃ to become anhydrous sodium phosphate. In dry air, it is easy to deliquescence and weathering, forming sodium dihydrogen phosphate and sodium bicarbonate. Almost completely decomposed into disodium hydrogen phosphate and sodium hydroxide in water.
Application:
Food sector
1. the quality improver of the work can improve the complex metal ions, pH value and ionic strength of food, so as to improve the binding force and water holding capacity of food. The maximum use amount of cheese is 5g/kg, the maximum use amount in western ham, meat, fish, shrimp and crab is 3.0g/kg, and the maximum use amount in canned, juice, beverage and dairy products is 0.5g/kg.
2. it is used as analytical reagent and soft water agent, and also used for purification of sugar.
Industrial sector
It is used as softener and detergent, boiler antiscale agent, dye fixing agent in printing and dyeing, mercerizing reinforcing agent of fabric, metal corrosion inhibitor or rust inhibitor. Enamel industry is used as flux and decolorizer. Used as a fatliquoring agent and degummer in leather industry.
