Properties
Trisodium phosphate, with the chemical formula Na3PO4, is a phosphate. In dry air, it is easy to deliquescence and weathering, forming sodium dihydrogen phosphate and sodium bicarbonate. It is almost completely decomposed into disodium hydrogen phosphate and sodium hydroxide in water. In electroplating industry, it is used to prepare surface treatment degreasing liquid and alkaline detergent for unpolished parts.
Application:
The quality improver of trisodium phosphate can improve the complexing metal ions, pH value and ionic strength of food, so as to improve the adhesion and water holding capacity of food. According to Chinese regulations, it can be used for cheese with the maximum dosage of 5g / kg; 0 g / kg in western ham, meat, fish, shrimp and crab; 5 g / kg in canned food, juice, beverage and dairy products.
