Properties:
 

Potassium diphosphate is an inorganic substance with molecular formula of k4p2o7 and molecular weight of 330.33. It is white powder or block, soluble in water but insoluble in ethanol. The aqueous solution is alkaline. The solubility of 100g water is 187G at 25 ℃

 

Application:

 

In industry, it is used for cyanide free electroplating, surface treatment, high-grade detergent, paint, detergent, dispersant, buffer, etc; Food grade emulsifier, tissue improver, chelating agent, quality improver, etc

In the neutralization calcination method: 30% food grade phosphoric acid is added into the neutralizer, and food grade caustic potash solution is slowly added under stirring for neutralization reaction. The pH value should be controlled at 8.4. After the reaction, the solution is heated and activated carbon is added for decolorization. The insoluble matter is removed by filtration. The clarified filtrate is heated to 120-124 ℃ for evaporation concentration, cooled to below 20 ℃ for crystallization, and centrifuged, Potassium dihydrogen phosphate trihydrate is obtained, heated to 120-130 ℃ to remove the crystal water and turn into anhydrous potassium dihydrogen phosphate, which is added to the calciner for calcination polymerization at 500-600 ℃ and cooled to produce edible potassium pyrophosphate products.
