CAS 7320 34 5 Anhydrous Tetrapotassium Pyrophosphate TKPP For Buffering Reagent
CAS No 7320 34 5 Anhydrous Tetrapotassium Pyrophosphate TKPP For Buffering Reagent
White powder or block. 534. The melting point is 1109 ℃. Soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. The aqueous solution is alkaline. The solubility of 100g water is 187 g at 25 ℃. The pH of 1% aqueous solution is 10.2. Potassium pyrophosphate has all the properties of other condensed phosphates.
Application:
1. It is mainly used in cyanide free electroplating instead of sodium cyanide as complexing agent. It is also used as pretreatment agent and pyrophosphoric acid electroplating solution. To prepare detergent components for clothing materials, metal surface cleaning agent, bottle cleaning agent components and additives for various cleaning agents. Used as clay dispersant, pigment and dye dispersant and buffer in ceramic industry. Bleaching and dyeing industry is used to remove a small amount of ferric ion in water and improve the quality of bleaching and dyeing. Potassium pyrophosphate is also an excellent stabilizer for hydrogen peroxide.
2. It is used as emulsifier, tissue modifier, chelator in food industry. It is also used as raw material of alkaline water for flour products. It is often used in combination with other condensed phosphates to prevent struvite and discoloration of canned fruits; Improve the expansion of ice cream, the yield of ham and sausage, and the water holding capacity of ground fish; Improve the taste and yield of flour, prevent cheese aging, etc.
3. Potassium pyrophosphate can also be used as complexing agent for alkaline electroless nickel plating and as detergent. Pyrophosphate can also be used as a complexing agent for alkaline nickel plating.
