White powder, hygroscopic, soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol, strong corrosive, aqueous solution is alkaline reaction, pH value of 1% aqueous solution is 11.8, melting point is 1340 ℃, relative density is 2.564.

Application:
In food industry, it is used as emulsifier, potassium fortifier, alkaline water, acidity regulator, meat product binder, buffer, antioxidant synergist and chelator. It is used to make liquid soap, refined gasoline, high quality paper, metal surface treatment, biological hydration treatment, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. It can also be used as boiler water softener, high efficiency liquid compound fertilizer and auxiliary for sulfur recovery from acid gas in synthetic rubber production.
