Application:
Diammonium phosphate is mainly used for wood, paper and fabric as fireproof agent, also as fireproof coating additive, printing plate making and pharmaceutical manufacturing. It is used as starter and nutrient in food industry. It is used as chlorine free n, P binary compound fertilizer in agriculture. Its total nutrient (n + P2O5) is 74%. It is a high-quality basic raw material for preparing N, P, K ternary compound fertilizer.

The main method of industrial production is to produce diammonium hydrogen phosphate by the reaction of thermal phosphoric acid and liquid ammonia or the neutralization of extraction phosphoric acid and liquid ammonia. The former has high purity and simple process; The latter uses wet extraction of phosphoric acid with low cost.
In the thermal phosphoric acid neutralization liquid ammonia method, dilute phosphoric acid with water (water: phosphoric acid = 1.3:1) into dilute phosphoric acid. After metering, add it into the enamel reaction tank with stirring and jacket. Under stirring, ammonia is introduced into the round tube ammonia distributor for neutralization reaction. When neutralization reaches the pH value of the reaction solution of 8 ~ 9, it is filtered while hot, and then sent to the cooling crystallizer for cooling and crystallization, The mother liquor was centrifuged and dried to obtain the finished product of diammonium hydrogen phosphate.

The centrifugally separated mother liquor is sent to the iron remover for iron removal by adding ammonium sulfide. After filtration, the filtrate is concentrated and sent to the fine adjustment tank. Ammonia is introduced to fine adjust pH to 8 ~ 9 and then return to the cooling crystallizer.
Extraction of phosphoric acid and neutralization of liquid ammonia to add phosphoric acid to a certain amount of hydrogen peroxide to oxidize the two valent iron in the phosphoric acid solution, to send the phosphoric acid into the tube mixing reactor and neutralize the reaction with ammonia. After the two stage reaction, the pH value is about 8. After being filtered by the plate and frame filter press, the filtrate is sent into the fine adjustment tank to adjust the pH value to 7.8 to 8, and is sent to the evaporator to evaporate to the relative density 1.3. Put it into the cooling crystallizer, and the cooled crystal liquid is centrifuged and dried to prepare the finished product of diammonium hydrogen phosphate.
